Positive: A comfy out of the way location, traditional rooms with a modern touch. Breakfast at the location was an arrangement buffet with various niceties. Had a pick up and drop off service, and bike which is great if you didn't drive to the location.
Negative: The address on Booking.com is the wrong hotel, which did bring us to the wrong location initially. You're better off just searching the name of the hotel in Google Maps.
Summary: A very quiet traditional modern fusion.

Positive: Situated in a very quiet place, at less than 15-minute walking distance from the lake and main bus station, the hotel is run by very very nice staff, providing support already ahead of the stay: the owner, Jiri, Athina and Russel, do everything to make your stay comfortable and nice. We had a very warm welcome and a lovely goodbye, which really touched us a lot! Spacious rooms are equipped with fridge and kettle for tea (offered by the house). The hotel has an onsen, which we booked twice a day for the whole duration of our stay. On top of offering lifts by car to cover short distances, the hotel loans bikes (not electric) to enjoy the surroundings. Jiri, the amazing owner, has also a lovely coffee bar (Jura Noir) on the opposite side of the lake: beside real Italian coffee (his business as well!), you can enjoy delicious handmade pancakes and tiramisu done by his lovely wife.
Negative: Just a detail but, maybe, because we arrived in a rainy moment, we experienced quite a lot of humidity, which we could smell in our stuff also days later.

Positive: Excellent and tranquil location. Short walk to Lake Yamanakako. Very clean hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Onsen was a great relaxing experience.
